Newcomb Courier LLC was established in Lebanon, Kentucky in March of 2012 by Bobby and Dana Newcomb. With degrees and experience of more than twenty years each in automotive mechanics and technologies, and accounting in the automotive industries, they familiarized themselves with the local need for freight forwarding, especially in the automotive industry.
After a trial phase of expediting on a part time basis, the demand grew and gave way to the birth of a new courier service. Since then, their hard work and dedication to the company has proven to be a very competitive and successful freight service. The fleet size has grown from one cargo van to an array of vehicle options: small transit box vans, cargo vans, sprinters, sixteen foot box trucks to twenty-six foot straight boxes and semi tractors and 53' dry van trailers.
Along the way, there have been many obstacles to overcome. However, focus, dedication, and determination have remained the center point of their company. They have both made many personal sacrifices to see the company come to fruition and have realigned their previous career paths to center their focus and energy on Newcomb Courier.
They are consistently looking for ways to improve in all areas of the freight business, with safety always being top priority. Hiring of experienced drivers, driver training programs, upgrading fleet, installation of equipment to monitor the fleet within one minute of real time accuracy, placing emphasis on customer services and customizing a staff to accommodate the needs of the ever-changing industry.
What started as a focus on the Lebanon, Kentucky area has now moved outward into surrounding states. The service area continues to grow and has now spread throughout the continental U.S. and Canada. With a large portion of the business focused toward automotive product movement, there are also focuses on dry goods in produce, general dry goods and timber components markets.
Newcomb Courier continues expanding, both in fleet sizing, staff and cargo types. We hope you will consider our services for your freight needs, and then let our competitive pricing and excellent customer service speak for itself.
